Our Services

  • NDT Inspection Services

    • Magnetic Particle (MT)

      • Purpose: Detect surface and near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials (e.g., iron, steel).

      • How It Works: A magnetic field is applied to the material, and iron particles (dry powder or liquid) are used to reveal disruptions in the magnetic field caused by cracks or voids.

      • Applications: Welds, castings, and forgings in industries like automotive and construction.

    • Liquid Penetrant (PT)

      • Purpose: Identify surface-breaking defects (cracks, porosity) in non-porous materials.

      • How It Works: A dye or fluorescent liquid penetrant is applied to the surface and allowed to seep into defects. Excess penetrant is removed, and a developer is applied to draw out the penetrant, making defects visible under normal or UV light.

      • Applications: Metals, ceramics, plastics in aerospace, manufacturing, and maintenance.

    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

      • Purpose: Detect internal flaws, measure thickness, and assess material properties.

      • How It Works: High-frequency sound waves are introduced into the material. Defects reflect these waves, and the time it takes for them to return is measured to locate and size the flaws.

      • Applications: Pipes, tanks, structural components in oil and gas, energy, and construction industries.

    • Radiography (RT)

      • Purpose: Inspect the internal structure of components for voids, cracks, or inclusions.

      • How It Works: X-rays or gamma rays are passed through the material and captured on a detector or film. Differences in material density appear as shadows or contrasts, revealing defects.

      • Applications: Welds, castings, and composite materials in aerospace, nuclear, and heavy industries.

    • Visual Inspection (VT)

      • Purpose: Perform direct observation to identify surface defects, alignment issues, or other anomalies.

      • How It Works: Inspectors visually examine materials and components, often aided by tools such as magnifiers, mirrors, or borescopes.

      • Applications: Basic inspections across all industries, often as a first step before other NDT methods.
